i have a 99 camaro with stock bottom end exhaust with long tube headers and 5.3 heads that have been ported and polished and some upgrades, looking for which cam would be best and some other mods my goal is to put down 450 to the ground and still have AC. Would like to spend around 1000 to 1500 and someday put on a procharger.

Is this a stick or Auto? If auto do you have or plan on a stall? What rear gears? Do you still have the stock ls1 intake? My first suggestion is going to be the Torquer v3 or the TSP 233/239 but that may change with more info.

Yes its a auto with a 2200 stall converter, and the rearend gears are 4:11 and also it has the stock ls intake

You're going to need a pretty big cam and at least an LS6 intake to reach your power goals. At that point, you're most definitely going to need a bigger stall, prefferably 3600+

Well I have those heads with a Torquer 2 cam, 4.10's, and a LS6 intake. It's a pretty potent combo IMO...especially for the money
