Default Will GMMG exhaust be raspy?

Finally got my GMMG exhaust system on order after wanting to get it for about a year now. Got in touch with the guys from Madhammer and ordered some through them, 625 shipped with no tips. Anyways, right now my 99Z still has stock y pipe/manifolds and no cats, and was wondering if this exhaust will be raspy with this setup? I have read that GMMG sounds awesome on stock ls1's, but may get rapsy with LT's and ORY, which i plan to do in the future but get a catted y instead of ORY. But will it be rapsy with stock y/manifolds and no cats. Im excited to finally hear this exhaust in person and just trying to get sime input on my current set up. Thanks

It sounds good on stock engines. After long tube headers and a ORY it gets a bit raspy. Some like it, some can't stand it. You can install an extra muffler in the intermediate pipe to help with this though.
