Default HS rockers vs. YT rockers

Is there any major differences between these two rockers besides the price? Valve tip weight? Stud or shaft? Etc...?

Come on peeps, chime in here. Are the HS rocker shaft or stud mount? Pics? Heavier than the YTs?

I do know that the H/S shaft are alot smaller than the Y/T's are.
Thats why the Y/T's are larger to accomidate the large pivot shaft.

Harland's been around for a while in other applications. That should be good for quality questions.

HS has been around for a LOOOOONG time. They have a name and a reputation in the racing industry. that is why I went that route. The LS1 HS rocker arms do have a smaller shaft than the YT's but I think it is more of a "guide plate" than anything. Some people say the HS and the YT's are a shaft mount design. Er...um....well, IMHO unless it has a shaft running from the first rocker arm all the way to the last one (see:ALL rocker arms on one cyl. bank) its not really a shaft mount. IMHO the YT's and the HS'S are a "guided" rocker.

The YT's are good but I have read about some shaft breakage issues with them. The HS's are to new to get any real durability samples yet. But in june I will be pounding the hell out of them for slightly over an hour at high revs. I am crossing my fingers that they hold up. If they do, well I know I got a good product.

Classified Cam Racing hehehehe

I went and got the YTs since theyve been in the LS1 market for a while now. I dont like buying a new LS1 product and being their guinni pig (IE. Eagle cranks) Ive only seen one shaft break so thats a damn good record to me and theres been no other problems.
