What are ported 243 heads worth?
What is a ported set of 243 heads worth and what kind of performance gains will I get from them on a lq4. I plan on using either an ls6 or ls2 intake. Thanks guys.

I was thinking as much, he says hes been doing it over 20 years in his garage and does it for multiple makes. I am gonna pass, he says he also has some dart 225cc ls complet with tooley springs ss valves all new for 1400. I will just keep searching for a set of stock 243's with decent mileage and get a valve job on them seems like the "sure thing".

If he has actual flow numbers and runner volumes, ported heads from the unpopular people can be a decent deal. They won't be worth a premium during resale though.

You have to be really careful on ebay, lots of junk on there. Read in the dyno section & make a decision based on results you see. The PRC LS6 heads are priced very aggressively so I think you'll find they are a great option. We also offer the PRC as cast cylinder head for slightly more which gives you a full aftermarket casting for a bargain price! We've had customers making past 500rwhp with the as cast PRC heads!!
