Default Anyone use a stud girdle? Concerned about my first year, 97' LS1

I have a 97', First year LS1. Motor has everything done to it that can be. Line honed mains, Bores torque plate honed to 3.908 with Mahle forged flat top pistons. Mahle rings. Forged rods. Turned and micro polished crank. Premium bearings. Rotating assembly completely balanced. Block completely deburred and radius’ed. ARP studs and 100% ARP fasteners. Short block blueprinted. Comp cathedral port .624” turbo cam. Double timing chain. Custom made billet Rev Kit. FluidDamper. CNC heads with many, many hours of hand finishing. Mirror polished chambers and exhaust ports. Manley valves. Gold double springs and titanium retainers. Super 7 locks. Comp chrome moly pushrods. Comp guide plates. Comp Pro Magnum full roller chrome moly rockers.
Pretty much the same parts everyone else has.
Up top is a custom Sheet manifold. Custom made 4 port inline throttle body. Custom made 321 stainless headers with double slip merge collectors and twin 60-1 turbo’s.

Pont is, The motor is more than capable of making power. Except….being that it’s a first year LS1……... Im afraid its going to break!!!!!!!!!!!
Motor is still a year from being started for the first time.
Im older, it was all my hard damn earned money and I have no intension of pushing it. There is just that “now and then” light em’ up!
Does anyone think that a main stud girdle would offer some insurance?

No, the main strength didn't change at all over the years of the ls1. I'd be more concerned with the fact the cylinders were taken .005 past what is considered playing with fire. 3.903 is about the safe limit for 97-99 blocks and 3.905 there on after.

Dont know. Daves engine and machine in Newark, CA. They have a very good rep. They did all the machine work and set up my rings for turbo.
