Default 1969/2014 1998 Camaro Z28 tribute

thinking about buying a new block and building it to swap into my 98. my horsepower goal is 500+ crank through an A4. I am building my 98 into a 2014/1969 tribute Z28. I already have it painted matte pearl white looks amazing. I did a little research and the 69 Z28 came with a 302 rated at 350hp and the '14 Z28 comes with LS7 rated at 505hp. Thats what a 5.0 and 7.0 liter engines. I figured I'd want to build a 6.X liter motor. I'm considering a 5.3 or 5.7 stroked out 383 which is roughly a 6.3, This car is daily driven and still needs to be friendly. Since both cars are N/A. so will this so FI is out.

They way I plan this out is to build the motor over winter and swap in the spring as I still need a car to drive till then.

Any ideas on which direction to head would be great
what block what stroke. open to all opinions.

I'd save money and just go with a 6.0 lq4 instead on a stroker...that's just me

I run the GM Heavy Duty/LS2 chain...some like the double rollers, either would be fine. I ran the heavy duty single, so I would not have to clearance my Melling high volume oil pump to clear a double roller chain. You will not have that problem with ported LS6 oil pump.

Would run 1 7/8 TSP longtubes over the 1 3/4...Everything else sounds great!
