If you had to do your H/C/I over, would you do anything different?

I am trying to learn from the mistakes of others.

Currently have a 224 cam with ported stock heads. Its not slow...but theres room for improvement.

Well. The real question is "If I had the money" LOL

I woulda went slightly larger on the cam from my 226-230 and at least a set of ported 243/799 from any of the sponsors here. At the time money just dident allow for it so I milled the 241s .015 and had a valve job done on them.

Screw FI and the infinite number of quirks

I would have done the clutch first, that's for sure. I might have went a bit bigger on my cam, but I'm happy.

Haha FI does have it's quirks for sure, but a well planned out turbo is what I would do if I could go back.

I would have sent my 243s to AI for porting for sure, not looking forward to having to torque the passenger rear head bolts again when I swap them out...also would have got a modern cam design like one from tick

I had milled PRC 5.3's, MS3 and LS6 intake.

I have stock, stock and LS6 intake.

May go with 224, stock and LS6 intake.

Mostly focusing on turning right now.

I would have spent more money on the heads. The prc 5.3 have been great, but I think I could have done a little better

I would have bought a used procharger kit, and a 12 pack, and a weekend to install it.

I would have budgeted even more and went for a 427 or 454 out of the gate and aimed for 600rwhp all motor.

Screw FI.

600rwhp NA is 9 sec in an F-Body. That's plenty for a car that sees the street.

I would have talked to some of the experts and let them put a proven package together for me. I bought my car with the ms4 cam and put the heads in my sig on it. IMO, the ms4 is too big for my build. Probably could have made better power with a smaller cam in the rpm range I'm spinning.
