Default Cylinder head advice

I'm trying to decide on which heads I want to put on my engine, I have it narrowed down to a few choices and would like to hear some opinions from other people. I'm looking at a $1600ish max budget. All the heads flow between 300-320cfm@600" and 211-229cfm@600"

The engine is a forged bottom end 347ci LS1 currently it's 11.1 comp.with 243 heads milled to 60cc, TSP MS3 cam, Victor Jr. intake and a 4150 throttle body and 1 7/8" header. I also will spray 250-300hp of nitrous.

The heads choices so far and costs

1. Send my 243's to AI to get 226cc CNC ported. They use stock 2.00/1.55 valves and cost $1100.

2. PRC As-Cast 225cc w/ 2.06" Intake /1.600" Stainless Valves and cost $1600

3. PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 CNC Ported w/ 2.02"/1.575" Stainless Steel Valves and cost $1600

4. TEA GM LS2/LS6 Stage 2 w/ 2.04/1.57 Ferrea valves and cost $1360

5. PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L CNC Ported Heads 2.02"/1.575" Stainless Steel Valves and cost $1300 new I can pick up a slightly used low mileage pair for $900.

If I chose to get any of the PRC heads then I can make some cash back by selling the milled 243's I already have.

To be honest they are all good choices, if your spraying that much nitrous I don't think it will really matter to nit pick the heads so much..

But I do like the idea of making money back on the heads you have to put towards PRC castings..

Out of all those I would probably go with the PRC as cast, simply because after you sell back your old heads for $4-500 you're going to end up with a better head for less money.

Also, those heads have a lot of potential left in them for further porting while all the other heads are pretty much maxxed out.

That's kind of the same thing I was thinking. Especially since Ill end up building a 400+ci engine if this one lets go. Or I could go with the 5.3's sell my 243's for $400 and only be into a better set of heads for $500. As long as I'm not giving up too much power by going with the 5.3's.

Spraying that much get whatever head has the most badass exhaust port and biggest ex valve of those. Intake port really doesn't matter at that point focus on the ex side.

I would get the prc 225 as cast or send the 243s ti Ai and get the 232cc work with cut down ls3 valves and a 1.6x exhaust valve.

You left out Tooley modded Trick Flow as cast 220 heads w/powdered metal
guides and turned down LS3 hollow valves. One of the overlooked features of
the TFs is that the 13.5 degree valve angle helps to sneak a more aggressive
intake lobe in without piston to valve interference. I'd just send those 243s
off to TEA since you already have them and their work is very nice; but I'm
a bit biased. All of your options would make tremendous power.
