C2 cam vs. comp 224/224 .581 112 (same?)

Is the MTI C2 224/224 .581 .581 112 the same as a comp cams 224/224 .581 .581 112 with XE-R lobe?

Yup, thats an off the shelf comp grind. One of MTI's guys made it popular a few years back...It used to be considered a "big" cam LOL.

With long-tubes, no cats, true duals(on a vette)....will you hear the lope of this cam? I want there to be no mistake where I spent my money!

It's what I've got in my '01 vette (C2 cam). I can call you and let you here it if you'd like. Nice lope and a litle ass shaking also.

That would REALLY help...I have two cams at my house C2 and G5X-2, and the install in 24 hours at speed demon in Houston! What's your #

I would say yes it is. You won't have a radical lope with a single pattern cam versus say a 224/228. But the street performance will definately be there.
