What have you noticed thats different about your car after a cam swap? Hey Guys, just wondering some of the changes everyones noticed after doing a cam swap. I'm not talking increase in power, I'm talking about how well does it idle, how well does it start when cold, how well does it start when hot, does it surge, does it stall... etc. Things like that. Please post your findings, thanks!

will quit at stoplights sometimes if i don't push in the clutch a little beforehand. other than that it hunts for idle a little bit right off the bat, but i love it! not the hunting part! haven't had a good tune yet, so it blackens my Corsa tips pretty quick.

It tries to kill itself all the time
People who don't know much about cars ask "what size big block that thing got??"
Everybody decides that I am racing them so they floor it, regardless if they are driving a Geo Metro or a Yukon. When in reality I'm just giving it barley any gas. But that may be due to the headers
My gas mileage dropped!

Just installed mine last week. It idles pretty good on cold starts, but gets alittle worse when really hot. It sounds good with the headers and ORY-pipe. I could definately use some tuning, though, but it's very driveable.
The biggest downside is almost every Mustang around here wanted to race before, now they hear the car and shy away!

I have no issues with stock tune with Hot Cam starts up and hunts for idle when cold but doesn't die unless turning hard in parking lots, and lopes petty hard I love it!! MPG went down about 2 MPG so that sucks but oh well got to pay if you want to play. but it will NOT start if AC is on must be off or it will die.

i had eastside performance install mine with their esp1 cam and i love it i get many complainments on how it sounds at idle, only thing it surges at times , mine starts up fine cold or hot never stalls , i think its really who tunes the car , esp know their ****
