Default what can i expect from my LM7?

pulled a stock LM7 out of an 01 Suburban that i'll be installing into my Jeep cherokee soon. i am looking to get it in soon, probably over the winter break from school when i have more time.

my original plan was to go over it with a cam more power add ons but now i'm thinking i'll just open up the valve covers and oil pan to take a look inside and if nothing surprises me i'll run it.

so what can i expect to get from this with a pair of shorty headers, car intake (needed to clear Jeep hood) and a good tune?

after everything is in the jeep and working well i'll pull the motor for the hot rod treatment of pick up another as this one with trans was only $349.

i'm hoping for that much at least, i read they are advertised as 300 crank HP from the factory so i'm hoping to get at least 310 with the tuning and shorty headers.

should i keep the 02 sensors and will they effect gas mileage?

Keep the front O2's but not the rear ones.
