Default Ready to start cam build

Hey everyone got all the parts needed to get my cam build started just got a couple questions
Cam I am using is an FTI custom ground .625/.624 239/235 111 LSA now a lot of people are telling me this may not work with high lift but I'm thinking that PTV will not be effected due to max lift being after TDC Still planning to check PTV just wanted advice?

Also what small things do I need to do this build? (oils, lubricants, coolant, etc) as far as parts I got fast 42lb Injectors, trick flow dual timing chain, lunati voodoo spring kit .660 max, comp 7.400 chromoly rods

Good top end gasket kit?

Any help appreciated thanks

Don't start the car with those injectors until you get tuned

You should get a flash tune from frost for your cam and bigger injectors, then you can drive to the tuner and get a full tune..

Or tow your car to the tuner and have him flash you a base tune to get you started..

This is the proper way to do it..

Some people drive their car on the stock injectors and swap them at the tuner, but I don't recommend that..

Ohhh OK I see what your saying haha I see people always posting videos to you tube with there car being untuned figured since I already had a decent tune a 40 mi drive to my tuner wouldn't be bad. Probly just tow it down to be safe

If you try to drive on theses 42lb injectors untuned you could wash down the cylinder walls ...like stated above get a base tune first trust me

Your right; the max lift of the cam has nothing to do with the PTV clearance.
The 239 duration intake lobe does however begin to open at least 18 degrees
sooner than the stock cam. You absolutely need to check....by rotating the
engine from 15 degrees BTDC to 15 ATDC....not on the power stroke but as
the exhaust is closing and the intake is opening. I install lightweight checking
springs in place of the valvesprings on the number one cylinder. Most cam
experts on here will tell you that that cam will be REALLY close.
