Default 2002 Camaro SS idle fluctuating, dies out

Over the last 2 weeks, when starting up my 02, the idle goes to 1000 rpms then fluctuates to about 500 rpms and feels like it is going to die (headlights and odometer lights begin dimming) before idling back to normal. Then whenever I let off on the acceleration, change gears or come to a stop it repeats this pattern. Not getting any codes or check engine or anything like that from what I can tell. The battery is from April '12. Hadn't had to jump it and drive the car a few times a week. Connections all feel tight. Taking the battery to get tested tonight but other than that, not too sure and want to avoid getting my face ripped off by going to a dealer. Any recommended shops in the LA area or thoughts on what it can be so I can trouble shoot? Last day or two it got a lot worse to the point where it dies out completely and barely wants to start back up.

IACV might be dirty or bad.

MAF might be dirty.

Good stuff. Will start by cleaning IACV and throttle body and see how that goes.

Yea mine has a similar problem, it'll drop down to 400, then jump back up to 1000, then surge down to 500 and go between 500 and 1000 until I stall it up some and ease it back down to regular idling speed. It also has a vacuum leak too though.
