Hey guys picked up a short block from one of the

Members here it has a eps custom grind

238 242 612 612 109+3..

I'll be running 243 heads and ls1 intake with headers

Should I keep this cam or chunk it? Will this cam be street able?

What kind of shortblock? Stock 243 heads? Ditch the LS1 intake for sure

22* of overlap is alot for the street. I would pick a different cam.

Excessive overlap will cause a loss of cylinder pressure at low rpm right? Causing bottom end torque to drop off you don't have enough compression?

It's a stock shortblock with kaytech rod bolts and arp head studs. Going to get an ls6 intake for it later. I have the block apart and replacing all bearings rings....

what gears and tranny do you have ?if you have a A4 you would want a 3600+ rpm stall .with a good tuner it is street able .where do you want to make your power ?
