I was trying to see how much of a diff would i see in these two set of heads

There's a reason that we stopped selling Patriot heads and started up PRC and doing our own heads. Patriot heads were not GM casting heads and had several core shift issues among other things. We do not weld up our chambers and cut them. PRC 5.3's use GM 5.3 castings and are CNC'd here in house as well as given a 5 angle valve job. Then we perform a leak down on the head to make sure everything is sealed properly before sending them out. Unfortunately we can no longer get new 5.3 castings so we require customers to send in their cores and we will clean and fully inspect the heads and as long as everything is still good we will perform the stage 2.5 process. The difference is quality control and consistency.

PRCs are done by a US company using CNC machines, while Patriots are done by a Chinese guy with a dremel in hand.
