Default What's a rebuildable LS1 long block worth?

Mine needs to be rebuilt, 10-15% leak downs on it. Compression is good. Motor is a '02 Camaro SS LS1...

Might make more sense for me to sell this and buy a built short block depending on what this current one is worth.

I'm including a set of good 241 heads that recently had the valve stem seals replaced...

Thoughts?

Not when combined with smoking on deceleration. The motor is due to be freshened, currently makes 380rwhp, down from a peak of 400rwhp with an eps 226/230 cam.

I agree with the valve seal....you already have the updated pcv system with the ls6 intake.

But Ill give you $500 plus pay pal fees for it! lol

Appreciate the input, but no, the valve seals are new. Leakdowns are bad and it's blowing smoke on decel, which is a classic sign (by itself, not counting the leakdowns) of worn rings. It needs a bottom end refresh.
