You should use the flex plate from your ls1, they are matched up to the transmission. As long as your lq4 came with aluminum heads you should be good. 99-01 I think had cast iron heads and a longer crank that only fits an 80e transmission with stock flexplates. Be sure to NOT use the spacer that is on the lq4. It may be stuck to the flex plate or on the crank- it's about 3/8" thick.

i just started the car and it sounds very good, l went for a spin and worked well but then i heard a little noise and now the car wont move. it seems like something happened on the transmission, my friend told me maybe the converter is not in its place anymore. So maybe i used the wrong flexplate ( the one it came with my original 5.7) do i need to use the one form the lq4?? any advice would be great, because now i have to pull the trans off. thanks

Nope, youll need to use the one that came off of the 5.7. Make sure you torqued the 3 torque converter bolts (allen head bolts) properly.
