If 400 rwhp is your goal, hit up guys like Ed Curtis (Flowtech Inductions), Martin Smallwood (Tick Performance), Kip Fabre (Cam Motion) or other vendors like Texas Speed, Vengeance Racing, Speed Inc., etc. If you tell them what your goals are, let them know what mods you have already on the car and how you intend to use the car, they can hook you up with a good custom cam.

Just some real world input. I have cam just smaller than torquer v2 with tsp longtubes and custom true dual. Car made 400rwhp/373rwtq. If I were to re do cam only all over id do torquer v2. My car is an 02 M6 with LS6 intake. My budget for cam was around 1500 but went over when I decided I should do ls7 lifters, new head gaskets, power bond under drive, etc.
My car is now going turbo and it's way expensive in comparison and I'm getting deals left and right. Wholesale gm parts, group purchases, and my own tuner who charges nothin but his cost.
Turbo+turbo kit+ inter cooler+ oil lines+ fuel pumps+ injectors+ miscellaneous will probably easily be over 4k but I shoulda did this all first.
Plus I have to get yet another clutch and flywheel and save up for my rear end problem that will happen. Food for thought. Good luck

That's also why you see soooo many turbo part outs for sale in the classified section. They buy the turbo and a few other things, then realize they have to completely overhaul the fuel system (injectors, pumps, regulator, etc.) and all the odds and ends they didn't account for. It adds up quick. Not saying it's not the same going cam only, but it's far less.
