Right now my motor is down for refreshing. I have cnc trickflow 225s on my 383. Im thinkin about getting a block and pistons and making it a 418 but i dont want to buy new heads. How far can the 225s be opened up to if i send them to a place like tea?

They would work just fine on that setup as is too. I'm sure TEA can hook you up though.

The tq those would make on a 418 would be pretty awesome. I say don't even touch em. Maybe just get them freshened up.

Those could easily be hand ported to a 245 if your that concerned. The trickflow heads really could benefit from a new valve job at the very least.

Im pretty sure the 225,235 and 245 head are all the same casting. I think they can be taken out to 245 if you wanted.
