Default Questions about a 5.3 to 6.0 swap

I own a 2002 Yukon with a somewhat sick 5.3 engine.
I recently bought a 2000 model iron headed LQ4 from a 2500 truck. I don't know the mileage - so my first question is: Where is this info stored?
I do have the PCM that goes with the engine: Serv. No. 09354896 CYCB.
My next question is: As I was told - this PCM would be a direct "plug and play" with my existing harness: is this true?
Next question: Would I be advised to change the camshaft out to something that would give me a little better towing and fuel economy (if this is possible).
Other info about this swap: Yukon is an automatic with 4 wheel drive. The donor truck had automatic with 4L80 and was a 4 wheel drive as well.
I look forward to the forum's answers. Thanks.

Doesn't anyone have anything to say about this? Surely, someone out there has done it.

Eveything is the same but will need to reprogram PCM with a 6.0 calibration.
I would pull the heads from the 5.3, have them serviced and bolt them to the 6.0. That would bump up the CR nicely.
Other than that, it's all plug and play.

The iron headed 6.0s will only bolt to a 80e.

yes, the 2000 LQ4 has the crank with the thicker rear flange, see the pic below.
