Default Heads/ Cam Parts Review and Advice on Quiet Valvetrain

Hey all, before I rip into this thing I'd like to list the parts I plan on using for my heads/ cam swap, and see if anyone has anything to add, or suggestions for changes. Also, any tips on making the valvetrain as quiet as possible? I plan to use M1 0w40 oil in this motor, or possibly Valvoline VR1 (non-synthetic).

ETP 215cc heads, surfaced and valve seal tested by Jim Grubbs Motorsports (AFR's authorized machine shop in SoCal)
Patriot Gold dual springs, installed height 1.800, seat pressure 155lbs
Ti retainers
Manton pushrods ... 3/8" on the exhaust end and 11/32" intake end
FTI Streetsweeper cam, 236/240, .629/ .610, 110LSA
GM LS7 lifters (should I get Morels or Johnsons due to heavy valve weight on the ETP's?)
Comp trunion upgrade for stock rockers
Fast 92 intake
LS2 90mm t/b
LS2 chain (plan to use stock gears... should I get a Cloyes timing chain set?)
ARP head studs
GM OEM head gaskets (any benefit from going with a Cometic gasket)
K&N intake
GM LS6 replacement oil pump
stock MAF?

I'd ditch the Patriot Golds for some PAC 1905s or similar.

I'd run the Morels or Johnsons.

Will the stock rockers work with the ETP heads? Don't you need pedestals for them?

I'd invest in a quality timing set with adjustable billet gears. That's where the timing is set, so a good quality chain is only part of the equation.

Cometic will allow for better quench, so I'd run those.

Thanks guys. I guess part of my hesitation is also the health of my 70k 01 LS6 shortblock. I have no idea how to decide if my shortblock is unhealthy. Car feels very strong for just having the LG super pro's on it, but there's no way of telling if it will coat the pistons/ valves/ o2 sensors with burned oil over time. In the Mustang world, guys regularly bolt on heads/ cam/ intake on 150,000 bottom ends without issue. I suppose if my car was an 02-04, or LS2 car then I'd have less hesitation.

Altnernatively, I was thinking of possibly doing a cam-only combo with milder lobes. I could reuse the LS6 intake, use LS7 lifters, LS2 chain, and have a budget combo that makes ~420rwhp/ 400 rwtq.

Perhaps I should do a leak-down and compression test on my current motor and then go from there.

I have 144k on my shortblock. I wouldn't sweat it.

The FTI lobes are pretty wicked, though. So investing in the better springs, lifters, and pushrods are a must.
