Default Questions about ls1 valvetrain before I purchase

I'm looking to take advantage of any black Friday/cyber Monday sales coming up....so I need to finalize my list.

All for 2001 stock LS1 out of a vette eventually getting a P1SC. My questions are:

will the springs and pushrods I already have work?

Are timing chain, gears, and oil pump needed?

Cam- planning on a brute speed blower cam.

Pushrods- already have comp 7796-16. Will these work?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-7796-16

Springs- already have PAC-1218. Thoughts?

locks- reuse stock

retainers- reuse stock

timing chain- which is most cost effective?

timing gears- needed?

oil pump- needed?

misc gaskets- rock auto.

missing anything?

Thanks guys.

Most cost effective timing chain is the LS2 style. For your application; I would go with the C5R.

Thanks.

I'm sure there are a bunch of these cams out there- has anyone used the 7.425" push rods?

Best way to know for sure is to measure push rod length. on Bob's website it says 7.4 normally work with that cam.
