I was speaking more to the intake manifolds, but yes, you're correct there too.

Just waiting on an email to go pick em up. With the holidays and all shipping is a bit slow.

Springs are PAC 1221X with Ti retainers.

It will be rifle drilled to reduce its rotational weight by 2.x pounds.
It will have some silly camshaft sensor stuff near the rear bearing journal.
Most likely sixteen shiny bumps will open/close 8 intake valves and 8 exhaust valves.
This just in........the PAC valve springs will not be happy with the shapes of those bumps....

Nothing more than "I'll be surprised by the specs". It's going to be a while before its together. There's a LOT of piecing together i need to do, as well as waiting on results of new manifolds...

I wonder if the retainers and locks are standard ls parts. I'd really like to run some btr springs but Brian told me they wouldn't work with these 5/16 stems.

I got told the same. Sucks because I've ran those springs before on my Camaro and they were EXCELLENT to say the least. Brian is a great guy and knows his ****, no doubt.

I know, sucks they're advertised as taking ls valvetrain but that's not the case. I also talked to ed but need to be ready with some $. Xceldyne sells retainers for psi 1512's that are within .010 tolerance wise of btr retainers but they run $27 a piece. The k motions I have would work but the open pressures seem high and don't wanna jack up my valves.

Just a thought, but how much in the hole would you be selling the Platinums and going a different direction? Or is that not an option?

Don't have the platinums, I have the k800's with ti retainers and psi 1511's. I put the k800's up for sale but no one bit because they don't fit stock ls spring pockets.

Btr platinums are 150, seats for bronze guides are 40 I believe, 27 a retainer and 7 a set of locks through xceldyne. That's what's going on in my head right now haha

I contacted AI with possibility of small boring a set of LSA heads but if that is not an option I will be also purchasing a set of these heads for a 347 boost setup. Will have to contact ed about valvetrain setup and I will be running a BER ported ls3 intake since ber is right down the road from my house

He said with the availability of the 6L block there isn't a real need for a small bore rectangular head and then suggested the 243/799
