How can you possibly know the compression of the motor when you don't know what head gaskets you're using. Also those pistons must have a seriously large dish in the 18-20cc range if your compression is anywhere near 9:1 with 243 heads.

I know around what it's going to be. And with a stock gasket that's almost exactly what it will be that's why I want to go thinner to bring a little bit of compression back. I know it want be much but every little bit counts

Never use head gaskets to adjust compression. The difference is so small that it won't matter.

Use head gaskets to set your quench distance. That will make a huge difference in how the engine runs, where it detonates, and how much power it makes.
