I'm considering a 226/236 on a 109lsa

anybody have any thoughts....

That will be a LOPEY cam if you ask me, 109 LSA, sheeeeeiiit! Wonder how hard it will be to tune that, I hope you have a M6 car :D

thats kinda the dig I'm going after....


but I wanted to know about P-V before I order it....
anybody think it will fit without reliefs??

isnt that pretty much an ASA cam?

It all depends on the lobe you cut it on as to whether or not it will fit. Advance? A 226/236 XE-r should fit with no problems. It's my personal opinion that that is to much split. It won't even be that great on the spray due to the 109 LSA. If your looking for that size range, I'd try a 226/232 112+4. It would be great on motor and spray.

I just did a 110lsa cam about two weeks ago and it sucked ass. Idled too damn rough, and came on too early. Had good power from 3,000 to 5,000.. but from 5,000 up it really fell off quick. I don't see any reason to ever go below a 112lsa cam on these cars at all, and that's coming from someone that has tried a load of cams.
