How much am I leaving on the table
Ok I just finished my build and wanted to know you guys opinion as to how much I am leaving on the table using my patriot 5.3 heads and ls6 intake on this build as to other heads and intake options
It's a aluminum 6.0 with 4.005 forged pistons and rods stock crank
Patriot 5.3 heads cr 11.2:1
Lsr 231/239 cam
Ls6 intake
Hooker lts 1 3/4
Open tsp y pipe for exhaust
Stock 10bolt 3.73s
Performabuilt 4l60
3800 stall
Nos plate 150 shot
Don't have any dyno # just track results it should be around 3500 with me in it
Ran 11.5@117 na was hoping for low 11s @ 120+ it was very hot and humid tho here in south Florida about 93degrees and 10.26@131 on the 150
Any input would be appreciated

This has always been my line of thinking as well. If $3000 heads are only getting me another 20 hp over $1500 heads, I'm then much better off spending $10 on some nitrous jets and upping the shot and gaining the same hp if not more. To each their own though

Why did you spend all that money on the mods in the sig when for 1% of the price you could've gotten new jets and got the same power?
If the OP wants to maximize his N/A potential then that's the kind of money he has to spend? Is the the best bang for the buck overall? No, not when you're comparing it to nitrous.

The same can be said about any mod really. Why spend $700 on a set of headers for 30hp when you can spend the same kind of money on a nitrous kit that gets you 150hp? Why add a cam for $1500 afterwards when you can just buy a $10 jet?

when I was building this new setup I had the chance to get slightly worked l92 heads but sence I already had the 5.3s I said screw it and used them and was told the 5.3s were gonna hold the 6.0 back some

Here's another way to look at it...with the same top end and everything else on a 408 vs the LS1 horsepower will be almost the same but the torque will be quite a bit broader on the 408. Since you have more cubes here you can run a bigger HCI than you could with the LS1 while still retaining the same drivability. The better heads will only add one part to the equation.
There's really no wrong answer here. It's just in all how much power you want, how you want it and how much you want to spend for it.

what about cnc LS3 heads and a fast intake
No need for the FAST intake especially with nitrous.
