For whomever reads this thread later down the road:
I ended up going with the yella terras because the roller tip and they will save the valve guides. Also they are build like a jessel in that they are on small shafts and not individually like OE.
I ended up getting a set of Johnson ST2126LSR lifters to try and get as close to a solid lifter as possible and not have the maintenance and also because in the event they 'pump up' at high R's the consequences wont be as bad as an LS7 because of the stroke difference. ( .053" vs .210" )
Lastly I'm changing to a 3/8 x .095 pushrod with either a .060" or .062" (stock) oil restricting orphis on the ends. Seems like sometimes these will drop into the heads, and sometimes they dont so a little clearancing is needed. we will see after I measure and get them. Wanted to have as rigid as possible for high R's.
