Default PEP LS valve train parts???

I see Precision Engine Parts has a "LS1" parts section now. I've searched but can't find any info on here from anyone using their performance LS valve train parts.

I guess my question is...does anyone on here have experience with their LS valves or valve spring kits???

Default PEP History

PEP began its life as a Valve Guide manufacture, years ago in Las Vegas.
Sure today they offer many other items, mostly made in the same plants as is used by Eagle, Callies, Scat, etc.
The product, in most cases, is ABOVE OEM GM grade in strength.

I have used their valves, spring kits, etc.
Never had a "dropped" valve, broken spring.

I like their Dual Spring kit with coated "ti" retainers for .650" lift cams.

The best test is for YOU to speak directly with Tony Avila, ask him about LS-x
engines.
He is the one the supplies Turn Key Engines, Redline Engines, CBM, etc.

The broken springs on social media that have been passed off as "BTR" springs came from PEP.
I think the rest of their parts are fine.

Default PEP Broken Spring ???

Hi Brian, the report of a broken spring may be correct.
I too would like to know more about specific spring, dual/single, valve lift used, etc.

The chance that it was a PEP spring may also not be correct as the report stated your spring kit in error.

Tony at PEP is most often "up" on this type of a unsupported report.

I will call Tony and ask him.

Thanks for the input...I should clarify that I used their valves a LONG time ago...I used the SBC, BBC, Ford valves and guides to rebuild stock cyl heads when they were still in L.A. Yeah, probably 20 or more years ago...

I always had good luck with the valves and guides, just wondering how the quality was nowadays. Any and all input is appreciated. I'm doing a mild 370 build and wouldn't mind trying their valves again.

EDIT: I would like to get to the bottom of the broken spring debate also...

Like Lance pointed out earlier, we do use the PEP valves. I can't say we have had any valve failures with them either. I would say that they are on par with the Manley stainless valves. If it was me, I would use them!
