Default Recently resurfaced heads these look ok to run?

Putting these on my lq4 for boost. Thoughts on the condition of the head surface? Were these machined correctly? First time building engine would like to get some opinions on this

Is there a way to check to make sure they are completely level? From the pictures, they look fine, but unevenness isn't going to be captured in a picture.

I'll definitely check that. But the machining marks look good? Almost seems a bit rough, again this is my first engine build.

How does it feel to the touch? Can you feel indentations on the surface?

Very slightly with a finger nail. Although with my finger tip it feels smooth.

It should be fine. How much did you have them take off?

Mine were coarse like that and my LS1 gaskets failed at 14 psi.
On top of that, I still see the orig gasket marks on those.

You really want this as smooth as possible.

Modern surfacing equip will do a much nicer job. That looks like the machine was older.

I just finished my engine. It took me 2 months to finish mine. I had to take the heads to my local machine shop.
