What displacement is this going on? I'm surprised you didn't opt for a custom cam suited for those heads.

346, what numbers would you suggest for a custom cam for these heads? I'm still open to changes, this is just what I've came up with as of now.

I'm not super experienced on custom cams. I just figured since you have a pretty nice list of high end parts that you'd have one specced out for you. I bet if you talked to Cam Motion or TSP themselves they'd come up with one that isn't too far off from the MS4 but a little more optimized for your build.

I may try and talk to Cam Motion and get back in touch with TSP, I talked to TSP and they mentioned the MS4, but I'll ask about a custom cam just for these heads. Couldn't hurt anything! Thank you for the advice, like I said in the title input is appreciated.

I agree. A custom cam is not that much more and in some cases the same price. Geoff Skinner at EPS is also a very good option. His lobes are easy on the valve train. You may want to throw in some Yella Terra rockers and some 3/8 pushrods.

I would also go with 1 7/8 headers from TSP.

That build sounds pretty potent. Nothing wrong with it IMO

If you're doing the trunion upgrade, go ahead and go with the Straub bushing kit.

Double check if you have the clearance for 3/8" push rods, some heads have to be clearanced for them to fit.

With the list of parts you're putting together, you might want to upgrade your fuel pump with a 340LPH pump, Racetronix makes a great one (IMO).

When you go over your setup with whomever your going to spec your cam with, ask them if the 42# injectors are going to be enough. With the setup your describing, I would go with something a little bit bigger (I could be wrong though...). Just be safe before buying them and get an expert's advice.

I personally would go speed density and save on the MAF. You'll never know the difference other than a little more throttle response with SD. And I'd avoid those injectors. I had a 2500rpm misfire with two different motors that I couldn't figure out. Sure enough after I went to FAST 36s the misfire is gone. Most tuners just rape the IFR table to make those work. Your better off buying an injector with data available.
