Default Heads.... decisions decisions...

Trying to setup a my WS6 346 LS6 to run low 11s NA. I have a set of 243s, and a set of Dart 225 cast heads. I have a Fast 102 Intake and Futral F14 cam to pair with whatever heads.

1. Send 243s to TEA or Advanced Induction
2. Send Darts to AI
3. Keep these heads for my Nova that I am doing restoring with a LQ motor and get a set of PRC 225 as cast

To many choices...

I suggest sending the dart heads to AI. Drop combustion chamber to 60cc

See below for a post I made on a different thread regarding the PRC 225 heads if you want and idea of the power you'll make:

Previous setup - Magnaflow Exhaust, Y-pipe, Pacesetter headers, LS1 Intake Manifold, Comp Cams 224/224 114, 363hp/343tq on a mustang dyno

New setup - Custom 3" true dual exhaust w/ Pacesetter headers, LS6 Intake Manifold, 42LB Injectors, Yank SS3600 Converter, PRC 225 as cast heads (milled to 60cc), TQRV4 Cam, 455hp / 423tq on the same mustang dyno tuned by the same shop as my previous setup

These heads seem to be putting out some good numbers...very pleased with them so far.

My wife also has a 99 TA. I have a 224/232 111+3 cam and ls6 intake with a PTC 3600 for her car. She is wanting a set of heads bad but I don't know what options to take.

She wants mid 11s. I want low 11s high 10s I have full tubular front suspension for weight reduction and MWC front support.

The Nova will be getting the 6.0.

The 6.0 going in the Nova I have been leaning towards a LS3 top end for it.

You won't go wrong with either. AI has some pretty proven CNC programs though and I know at least one very active member who has AI ported Dart heads

Default Heads

Currently have AI 243's in my set up right now. Love them. They are the 226cc CNC package. Just wish I had them spec a cam to match. Good luck with your decision.

How is the communication with AI? I like the fact that TEA gives you a flow sheet and cc spec sheet. The peace of mind of having and knowing that means alot.

I have emailed Phil.. so we shall see.

To be honest, I actually purchased my AI heads from a member on here. They were just completed and still new in the box. I decided to contact AI so I could get more info on these heads. Phil was pretty awesome. He's not much for phone calls and prefers to email most of the time, which is fine for me. Might not be for others. He responded quickly and really helped me out. Even threw out a few cam recommendations as well. Most of these CNC programs do really well. (TEA, AI, WCCH, Frankenstein etc.) Its just who you feel more comfortable with.

Have AI CNC port the Dart heads. Trust me, I know a thing or two about the AI Dart/RHS CNC'd heads.
