Default oil in radiator

Hello i have a 2001 trans am i just finished building the engine. I went and did the initial start up let the engine warm up to operating temp. went to top off the radiator and found oil in the coolant. I would gravitate toward a head gasket but i have no water (coolant) in the oil. I have flushed the system, and during the first flush no oil came out with the coolant, only clear water and a minimum of green coolant. I am stump as to what could cause this issue, i used .051 MLS gaskets and tty bolts from GM. Any and all possable causes are greatly needed. Thanks everyone.

Was the oil you found just a bit floating around the radiator cap area?

After a coolant flush and re-fill, did you find any more oil in the radiator?

Do you have a PS cooler? Could it be PS fluid?
