So is the 90mm intake and TB and the larger cam the only difference between my engine and yours? Because I think my compression is 11.5.

Do you think I'll pick up 25 RWHP with the intake and TB alone?

His heads were ported by someone else, too.

I think you could pick up a SOLID 20 RWHP w/LSX 90 and 90MM TB

I have stage III ported LS1 heads, not LS6 heads, how much more power can be had from the best heads out there?

You can gain more power by going with LS6 heads. I have 6.0L heads and I am sure I would have dyno'd higher with LS6 heads. The head porter is also important. You have more cubes than I as well. 436-408=28ci more. That alone with good heads, proper cam, and LSX90 should produce more horsepower than me.

I guess in a few months I'll get the best heads out there, whoever it is that makes them. I'm also gonna get the 90 intake/TB with the DP set up on it. My can literally idles like a stock LS1 so I'd like to keep it. ARE said a cam upgrade, while STILL keeping smooth idle quality won't be worth the change. I'll have to deal with lope if I want to get a decent HP gain through a cam change.

Oh well, the modding never ends does it????

Enjoy your beast man

Where do you live in FL?
