Custom cam options for 6.0 LQ4 bored .30
How's it going? About to pick up an 05 Silverado crew cab with a 6.0l LQ4 that has had the following done to it.
LQ4 6.0L bored .30 over to 370ci
LS6 Cam 204/218 .550/.550 117 lsa
Mahle 4.030 -4cc Flat Top Pistons
317 heads with new valve seals and Comp valve springs
7.4 comp rods
New GM stock crank
LS6 ported oil pump
SLP double roller timing chain kit
ARP rod bolts, cam bolts and crank bolt
GM 5 layer head gaskets, new gaskets/seals and new clevite bearings
ECM Tuned
Flowmaster turndowns (no cats)
K&N Cold Air Intake
4L60e with corvette servo
TruTrac with 4.11 gears
My question is, what cam should I choose since I know I can go bigger? it will be pretty much a daily driver. I will also be adding LT headers and a 3000 stall the day I get it. Any feedback would be much appreciated. thank you

Ya, I planned on calling him too. Just wanted some feedback and thoughts from this site. maybe someone had a similar setup with a better cam that could shed some light on it for me. thanks for the advice too.

When you do the cam, slap some 243's on it at the same time. You won't regret it. I fought it for a long time, and wish I would have done it earlier. I was impressed with the seat of the pants gain from the stock 317 heads to stock 243's. The bump in compression made the whole package come together.

Titan IV is fairly aggressive for a truck daily driver IMO.
i would ask Kip his thoughts on the same came but on
a 114*+3* LSA Vs 113*+5 not a huge difference,
but would mellow it out a little bit.
Just my .02.

The Titan IV is torquey even in a LS1, a 370 will tame it down even more.
Now all that to say they may be able to spec out something even better for the application...but the OP just needs to call IMO.
