Default Speedmastet studs same size as arp?

Finally got around to putting my speedmaster head studs on last night but they were missing one nut and two washers. I ordered them several months ago otherwise I'd contact the seller. I ended up ordering a couple washers and nuts from arp. Can anyone confirm that they'll be the same sizes?

I believe I've heard of people swapping hardware when something comes up missing.

Well that's good to hear since I ordered them already.
Apparently missing hardware is a fairly common thing. :/

Speedmaster is the new name that Pro Comp goes under. The owner changed the name a couple of years ago.

I don't think I'd trust head or main bolts & studs from an offshore source.

Can't blame you; no accountability for quality control, if any.

I wouldn't consider Chinese bolts on or in my motor. Not worth the "discount" to me.

This.
I simply just wanted to know if anyone could confirm them being the same size. Still waiting on the washers since the post office sent them to the wrong city somehow.

Racism has nothing to do with it. Questionable quality does. And that has been proven, time after time. The race card is a cheap shot.

When you post a question in an open online forum, would you expect to get just one answer?

EG: “What oil should I use?” may generate pages of discussion that includes oil filters and oil coolers.

That’s what’s great about open online forums, they encourage discussion which of course results in a greater searchable database. If it wasn’t for forums, Google searches would result in nothing.

In the case of the products you asked about, I hadn’t seen discussion of it before and I wanted to learn more. Which I, and everybody else, did.

You never know when a simple question will result in two responses or hundreds. The more the better!

Nosir, I don’t dislike less expensive Chinese made products because I’m a racist or I have a dislike for Chinese people.

I have a dislike for lesser QUALITY import parts.

As far as me being a racist, this forum does not tolerate racism in any form. And as a moderator, one of my responsibilities is to watch for it and take appropriate actions, when needed.

Personally, I have many fine friends here in the melting pot of New York City from all walks of life-including many Asian folks-immigrants and natural born US citizens. I’ve even dated a immigrant Chinese woman years ago.

As I have done some business in Asia (I’ve built night clubs in Vietnam), I can tell you with first hand experience that people in Asia will spend enormous monies to purchase US MADE products even though that make similar products right there themselves. What does this say about their products?

Truckdoug POLICING!!!! LOL

I just ordered a set of ARP because my China made studs had a nut with no threads. I hope no one sees that as racist. That's funny **** right there. I also run American Racing headers when I can get them at the right price. They are made from seamless pipe while Chinese stainless headers are made from seamed pipe. Chinese parts have there place just like American parts. Relax.

None of this is to say that quality products can’t be made in China. Many fine professional audio products are made in China. Many manufacturers have learned when shifting production to China, they need a representative on site to oversee materials, manufacturing, quality control and testing. I believe Scat cranks does this. However, it’s no secret that fasteners are not one of the import products that have the needed quality.

It's not the Chinese its American greed. R&D now is Ripoff and Duplicate. I have an employee years ago that was in CA. He was at a place out there and say a wooden crate with items piled in it. NO order to the stack or any certain category of parts. Just "hot rod parts". He asked what was going on. They said those are samples going to China to be made, duplicated. No engineering, no tolerances, not nothing. Just a part in a package.
