Default 5.3 oil pressure, what's acceptable

Ok, so I've looked for answers all over the interwebs and haven't turn much on what's acceptable for top pressure. I recently just did a swap on an 05 tahoe 5.3. Engine that went in was from an 04 suburban 5.3 13x,xxx miles. Runs and drives fine, gauges seemed to be in working order before swap. However after swap oil pressure is cold start about 50psi, warm idle 40 which I like. My issue is moderate throttle about 2k I have 60psi and wot is 80psi. I switched sending units and it reads the same. I haven't gotten a mechanical gauge on there yet. The one I have doesn't have the right fitting. So that will be my next move to verify it's the correct reading. I can't find anyone talking about pressure relief valve sticking shut causing pressure to bleed off. I only find people talking about it sticking open and causing low/no pressure. Does anyone have experience with this issue or any input. I know it has a higher pressure pump for the afm, but I don't know what's acceptable top pressure without causing starvation, aeration, blowing a seal or anything else bad. To worry or not to worry is the question(in a nut shell).

My 01 Yukon XL is just about spot on what your seeing. I hit 75 PSI at 5,000 rpm shifts and 60 PSI at 2-3,000 rpm hi-way driving. Hot idle is 40-45 PSI, I wouldn't worry about that oil pressure. Less than 15 PSI is when you need to worry.

I appreciate the replies guys. I'm starting to worry less about it. Just seemed a little high to me.

Yours sounds pretty normal. It's not necessarily normal if you compare it to other makes of cars, but it's normal for a LS motor vehicle. My truck seems to run a little higher pressure than the camaro did.
