Yea I'm real happy and glad I was able to hook up a few times.. took me warming the hell out of my tires though since track prep wasn't that great.. there was a 10mph head wind also, not sure how much difference that makes but seems to be the norm at that track lol.. I'm kind of curious how much of gain going to 3.73s.. maybe .1?

Yea i think I have a good baseline for the shock settings.. I'll be excited to see what it does in cooler air.. front sway bar will prob get removed also to see if that helps any.. worst case it's weight savings lol.

Not bad for the first outting I have my DR's at 18 and it's sweet spot psi, try that and maybe I don't have to roast them to get them right + sway bar removal and u will see a difference! Again all tracks weather etc are different but I know at 22lbs and I'm spinning! Just trading notes brother again love your build get back to track for more results!

Cool man! I appreciate the advice. At thins point i'm just looking to improve the launch so i will definitely drop to 18 psi and try that out next time along with getting the sway bar out of there.

I was just matting it off the line also instead of brake stalling it up.. I've heard it does better just hitting it so the suspension travels better, but not sure. I will probably play around with that more next time. Hopefully i will get it weighed soon so i know where i'm sitting for race weight..

Nice slip, Mang!

Question - the 22-mph back half seems a bit low to me. Did you notice anything in particular, or you think maybe that's the headwind? For your HP and how you ran the 1/8, i'd have expected 24-25 mph out the back.

Thanks! I was thinking maybe the DA being at 2200 and a 10mph head wind.. it seemed like it pulled well to the end.. I was expecting to hit 120 but maybe the cars heavier than I think? I'm hoping to determine that this weekend if all goes well..

118-94=24

OP, your car will go 120+ with few small tweaks. Nice job tho!

Yep its exactly 24. He's right where he should be. I really think he has 120-122 in it with the right tweaks and great DA and temps

Ohh at first I wasn't understanding what you meant. I see now.. I think my plan is to try to get a 3" cut out and 3.73s installed and remove the sway bar for good measure. I'd love to see 120+ in cooler weather.

Any of you have better luck brake stalling versus just hitting it on green from idle?

Not sure a 3" cutout will help.

Weighed the car this weekend with my drag rims on.. without me in it it weighs 3520 with almost a full tank of gas.. 3680 roughly running with me in it.. I thought I'd be a touch heavier, but I think the drag rims help quite a bit.

Pretty old thread, but figured I'd throw updated numbers in here. Since the last run I added an SSRA, switched to 3.73, and replaced the volant with an FTP 98mm lid. So far my best is 11.25 @ 120 1.57 60 ft 1171 DA with a light tail wind. Went back on a cooler day around 5-600 DA, but had a 10-15 mph head wind and couldnt break 11.28 @ 119 with a 1.57 60 ft. I was hoping to hit around 11.1 @ 121, but no luck. I am curious how much a 10-15 mph head wind took away. Either way I'm real happy with the times with no major weight reduction other than drag wheels, removed spare, and front sway bar. Next year I should have a 150 shot on it, so that should be interesting lol.

1171 DA light tailwind.

5-600 DA w/ 10-15 mph head wind
