Just got my set with your VVT 3.2 cam kit and DOD delete. Pics here: http://streetntrack.net/topic/2410-2...&comment=61054

Any tips for installing them for an LSx n00b?

I'm not sure when a 231/243 became a big cam for a 6.2L but I cant wait to see your results and feedback on these rockers!

I would imagine install procedure on these is the same as factory? Set the wipe (or roll in this case) pattern as close to center as possible

With my cam, I believe the lift is .657 with these rockers... Have TSP Polished PAC .660 springs w/Ti retainers.

Only hiccup was the rockers hit the stock valve covers. You either have to grind the valve covers to clear or buy taller valve covers.

Odd. I am using the same rollers on the setup in my sig. No grinding necessary to the valve covers, clearance was fine. Only difference is that I swapped to cometic valve cover gaskets.

im goona bump this up with a question, ive read all 5 pages..... ive read in other threads the the biggest benefits of an aftermarket rocker is the wipe pattern. the stockers are terrible. nowhere on here has anyone talked about it. anybody that has these can they report back on the wipe situation? thanks

I’d assume the roller tip on these helps those with TFS heads? When are the CHE versions going to be back in stock?

The roller tip SHOULD help ease side pressure on bronze valve guides. I know AFR makes roller tips mandatory with their heads as they don't use iron guides either.

Give TSP a holler; they might clue you in that sort of stuff.

What is a reasonable rev limit for these rockers?

I mean, assuming everything else is built to rev higher, at what point do these rockers become the weakest link or the limiting factor?

Has anyone spent significant time with these at 7500 yet? Or 8000?

I looked at your sig. You don't have the exact same combo as I do.

My junk is a 2010 SS L99 with DoD/AFM delete, but kept VVT.
I have TFS GenX 255's
TSP VVT 3.2 Cam
Etc...

Click my sig...

The passengers side valve cover had 2 places that had to be ground down flush with the underside of the valve cover.

But I went a step farther and bought the Holley LS3 tall valve covers.

I've rev'd to 6,800 rpm's no issues.

Mods in sig.

The TFS 255 need a different rocker from LS3. At least every other aftermarket rocker has a specific part number for the TFS 255 heads. They probably work with stock rockers, but for a full roller, there needs to be some changes made.

The TSP rockers are stock replacements.

I'm not the most educated on valvetrain, but how would a roller tip stock replacement rocker not work?

I've been running them fine for over 10k miles now with lots of high rpm driving and drag racing...

The LS7 full rollers where still in the R&D stages. The LS7 "King Titan" solid roller thunder stick from CamMotion has got my attention so it's got me wondering if these new roller rocker arms will be fully adjustable.

Because they aren't stock rockers. Even if they are stock replacement, it's not the same. That would account for the grinding some people are having to do. Which is pretty common with aftermarket rockers anyway.

Also, if you look at T&D or Crower products for the LS3, they do show the offset as different on the intake side between the GM LS3 and TFS LS3. Point is, the TFS LS3 head is not stock either.
