Default Help 2005 CTS v magnacharger, intake, header and exhaust

I was driving my car and took it up to 5500 rpm. Came back from my drive and turned the car off. When I went to restart it I had an engine light p300 and a ticking coming from what sounds like the top of the motor. Got it scanned and it was a misfire on 1 and 5. Took it to gm and the removed the valve cover and could see nothing wrong. They want to take apart the motor to find what's wrong. I don't want to tear it apart unless I know there is a fix. Please help. Got the car yesterday.
Also coolant light came on. It was low in the resevoir but none on the ground. Car seems to run fine now win no codes but the tick is still there

Have you tried switching coil packs from known good cylinders?
If you just bought the car yesterday then new spark plugs might help too. What is your oil level at. Might be a lifter tick from crappy oiling as well?
