LS6 A lot valve cover pressure
I have a LS6 stroked to a 383 with 243 heads, and the motor has only about 1500 miles on it.
I am getting a lot pressure in the passenger side valve cover. So much so if I put a KN breather on the valve cover and go and drive the car hard it will spray oil all over the engine bay. If I take the breather off and put the oil cap back on, it will push oil out the valve cover gasket or the valve cover bolt grommets.
The only way I have found to kind of control it, is to plumb the passenger side cover to a catch can by itself. Plumb the driver side to the oil air separator and to the vacuum on the T/B, and the valley to the vacuum on the intake. That will kind of contain the oil on the top side but then it leak oil from the oil pan.
Has anyone had a similar problem?

Sounds like an issue with either bad machining, wrong ptb clearance, improper ring gap/clocking, or a combination of all that.
You should run the pcv system exactly like it was stock to help alleviate issues, but your pressure build up is VERY excessive. You have bigger issues at hand.

You should not have used that pump. A high volume like moroso or 10296 melling will agitage your issue. the 10295 high pressure is the only perf pump to use for normal clearances even up to .003 honestly. put a reg pump in and youll see a diff BUT do a cyl leakdown test also and compression test to see if its also a cyl bore/ring/piston problem. i bet its a combo of all of that. ive seen it happen too many times.

I did a leak down and compression test and both turn out good.
Could I possibly be getting to much oil in the top side of the motor? Has anyone ever used a restricted flow pushrod?

What were your rings gapped at? What psi did your comp test show?
Its likely being caused by that pump. Put a reg pump in it. But that cannot be the only reason honestly. The pump is pushing too much oil going to a restricted pr wont help alot only turn it into an oil cannon honestly.

Better go back in and redo the leak down test with the pistons at different positions. Try @BDC. only thing that can make crankcase pressure is BLOWBY. Also try and see if it HUFFS pressure, could be just one cylinder. I'm going to guess from here there is way too much piston clearance. What was it when it was put together?
