"head gasket dilemma" LS Guru's i need help!
I have a 2000 5.3, stock bore, added flat top pistons, and 243 heads, my question is do i buy a stock head gasket that matches the cylinder, or do I buy a gasket that matches the head chamber? The head chamber is slightly larger than the cylinder, I'm not real sure here. By the way I'm NOT changing the stroke.

Stroke has nothing to do with head gasket choice in this case. Get stock 5.3 gaskets.
