For boost you are looking at about $1100+ for pistons rings and rods. If you are just looking for moderate boost in the 5-8lb range maybe just some heavy duty hyper e pistons and a budget forged rod would suffice. That setup would run you $675.

what ever I do to it I don’t want to cut corners.. what pistons would you recommend? I’m not worried about the price so much.

Are you looking at a turbo or blower down the road?

Nice parts list you got there.

If you're going boost stay on the lower side of boring it. Or stay stock bore since you won't be depending on the cubes to make the power. I'd recommend a high end piston and a decent rod, not necessarily top shelf for your power goals. And honestly with your power goals you could get away with stock pistons and rods but if you have the money then I would absolutely go with forged rods and pistons for peace of mind. Plus wouldn't make much sense to not go that route considering the level of all the other parts you're going with. Tech@ws6 made some great recommendations.

Also, if you stay on the lower side of the bore size and go with forged pistons and rods and you ever want to turn up the power (and you will) all you'll have to do is turn it up..

I would run 9.8cr on a std pin. Maybe above 15lbs youd need the extra pin strength but the lower cr will make it a total turd before boost and overall. Don't be afraid of compression, its not an import.

Could
Not

Drives me nuts watching everyone go low compression. I love compression. I've done high compression nitrous and turbo motors and loved it and also had zero issues.

If you bought which pistons?

Those trick flow heads are def able to be reused. And cam...im not sure. Depending on specs you could stay with it honestly.
You dont need a whole new combo just some attention to detail.

the pistons that you suggested, I really appreciate your help, so thank you!

I really wish there was a blue print to just go buy as I have no idea what I need to buy, I have the new 6.0 block but that’s it.. id like to just make my car stronger before I go boost.

Keep your heads.
What are cam specs? That will determine if you need a new cam.

We have those pistons readily available. $750 for pistons, pins, rings. You may want stronger rods also. Scat H beams are $440 with arp rod bolts. I like em and use em alot.

To be honest I bought the car with it so I have no idea, and yes I will be for sure contacting you as you have been a great help, would I keep my assembly or go to a forged one?

Reuse your stock crank, then get the forged rods and pistons and be done!

Ok sounds good.
