Gen 3 6.0 Crank Weaker Than Gen 4
 

I thought I read somewhere the older gen 3 6.0 cranks are weaker than the gen 4s. Is this true?

I know if I use gen 4 rods I'd have to get the assembly balanced but is the older crank weaker or the same?

They are both Cast Nodular Iron, So I would guess IF there is a difference in strength.....It's not much.

I always wonder how someone would prove something like this?
