Question LQ4 or LQ9
I have a ls motor but the block numbers match both LQ4 and LQ9 numbers but the piston are flat top with 317 heads come out of an 02 Escalade I want to rebuild and get some good horse power out of...

LQ4’s piston is dished LQ9’s are flat. Either will make good power with the right upgrades.
