Whats left after HCI?
Hoping to just get some feed back. I have an 02 Camaro that I installed Prc stage 2.5 ls6 heads torquer v3 cam 231/234 .643/598 Fast 102 and TB. Its an A4 car and I have been running a 3.73 in the stock 10 bolt and way too small a converter that I'm switching out this winter. Best HP number was 425@ 6500 and 371 tq @5500, Best 1/4 is 11:85 but usually 12.0.
The question is is there anything left in this LS1 without a power adder or is that about all that's left before stepping up to a 408?
I had the trans rebuilt with Monster transmission parts and I also have a 9" that's going in with a 3.89 and a 3600 stall, I have koni shocks and bmr sport springs, adj pan hard, adj torque arm, and solid lower arms.
any good advice is much appreciated

Besides a better stall and/or a power adder there isn't much to be gained unless you do different heads and such. I see you're in MI as well. Who tuned the car if i may ask?

You're getting close to the end buddy. Lots of small things you can do to go quicker, but there is nothing left that's gonna have the impact of a cam or heads. Well that stall will. I've seen several people on here talking about how pissed off they were that they didnt go FI right off of the bat. I'm certainly leaning towards that direction myself.
What plans do you have rolling around your head?

Yep its close to the end of the line. There are a few minor things left that can help some, but nothing as impactful as HCI or FI. If your just plain ready to step up on displacement, these are good things to keep in mind as well.
1. Is the Fast 102 Ported? Probably a bit there.
2. Electric Water Pump...not much for hp gains, but it can take some load off the engine.
It provides some nice added throttle response as well. Meziere street is a nice piece.
3. Order 11/32 pushrods and individually measure each pushrod. That process seems long
and tedious but has been well worth it for many. Including myself. There is power to be
had there.
Sure these are small things, but they really do add up. Especially if you want to keep your current motor and go all out. It's up to the end user if they feel these additions are worth the time and money. Other than that, bigger cubes might be in your future.

Better heads and LLSR cam would add some. What is your compression and quench? How much are you willing to spend? The jump in Hp from 425/450 to 500+ is a considerable amount of $. As stated FI seems to be more bang for the $. The money that you would spend to upgrade you current combo just to gain another 50hp would come close to some turbo kits.

Your transmission, differential, and suspension will be overbuilt for any thing your
Current SBE can dish out NA. If you want to go much faster NA, if it was me
I would build a LS3 with some MMS, AFR, TFS, or ported stock LS3s combine
With Cam Motion LLSR & FAST W/Mid-Length Runners. 10 second street car
With pretty decent manners, & sell current engine.
Or just Turbo your current engine faster & cheaper.

There are other things you can do, but most people won't because the benefit/cost ratio is lower. Vacuum pumps, crank scrapers, underdrive dampers, electric water pump, electric steering conversion. Someone mentioned LLSR, which is a fantastic upgrade, better heads.
Or you can start over and build for displacement if you prefer to stay NA. by the time you figure int he cost of your new heads for the bigger motor, etc, you might decide it's time to do 30-psi on a 4.8. I prefer NA, but that's personal preference.

Yes, stall/4000 - 4400
Maybe some tires/Mickey's or Hoosiers
I just kinda took his post as in he is like "welp the best it's going to do is 12.0 with the current motor so now what"
when a 4400 stall/ shifting at a minimum of 6800 and a Hoosier Dr2/Mickey street R radial or maybe even add a drag pack he could very well see a full second knocked off his current best e.t.
About $1400 to knock a full second off is not a bad deal at all

Yep that's the tune that came on my car when I bought it. He used to own C.A.R.S. out in the Waterford area. Not sure about yours but my tune was horrible. If you are interested i have a really good tuner out in the Milford area. He does incredible work on these cars when it comes to tuning
