Default Head Gasket help

I have a low milege 2000ss. It already has a G5x2 cam and all supporting mods. I ordered a set of PRC 225 heads and plan on running nitrous as well. What' the best head gasket and thickness I should run?

Stock gm 12498544 are fine unless you know how much your piston sticks above deck.
A min of .040 is what i recommend on ls engines due to the pistons sticking up .004-.012 above deck. .030 theoretical quench is ideal but you have to know your ptd clearance.
Otherwise Cometic 3.910 x .045 and 3.910 x .040 are avail

I've always liked stock LS9 gaskets. Hold up great to just about anything you can throw at them. Only issue is they are .007" thicker than stock, as in .058" compressed thickness. Other than that, much stronger and cheaper than many other head gaskets out there. They are built for boost right from the factory.
