Default anybody have a motor on a stand right now?

like an idiot, tried packing bread in attempt to push out the pilot bearing. ended up getting it out, but concerned that i possibly pushed the freeze plug in the crank a little. the plug is still there, but curious if anyone could measure how deep their plug is? if you could please measure from freeze plug to the tip of ur pilot bearing or where the crank ends and the pilot bearing would sit that would be awesome. thanks

if u scroll down on page 2 u see a pic showing where you measure from to get the 1.24 or whatever. what im confused about, is i don't think thats measuring to where the pilot bearing would be flush. its confusing where they are measuring from

it would appear that the lip where the pilot bearing sits flush to should actually be around 1.1 or so.......either way i know its dumb knowledge but if some other guy had his sitting back 1.75 inches, that means it at least goes back that far so if i budged it i still have at least 1/4" behind but probably much more than that which im comfortable with

also darth, are u measuring from pilot to freeze plug? is this a factory crank where the plug hasn't been messed with? thanks again

I measured from edge of pilot to center of freeze plug. Mine is unmolested. I honestly think if it hasn't exposed anything it is like fine

Yeah I think it' OK too as long as it' not crooked now which it looked straight. Couldn't even really tell it was a plug. Thanks again
