I went to the pro vacuum pump with the 12 a.n line on gz motorsports recommendation. I am tired of leaks down back of motor.
I heard that! Fresh oil under my new engine lol. I bought the Greg Banish DVD for the injector data and did some research on the tuning involved to run those injectors.

I enjoyed the vacuum pump upgrade quite a lot. And it does stop alot of leaks. I blew out my rear main seal on a dyno once, because I was stupid and forgot to hook up the PCV line. I still had the cap on the inlet nipple on the intake to keep dust out LOL. Left about a quart on the floor of the shop. Next time I went in I had the VP on. It stops all the little nuisance leaks too, unless its something major like the OPSU (and WTF decided it was a great idea to wrap the F_ing brake booster hose around it at the factory???)

I find there is a lot of data discrepancy out there on the SD's. You may need to do a LOT of interpolating in the offset table.

MAVN recommended snake eater performance to me.said he provides all the data and flow matches the injectors. So I'll give them a try.
Will get it dialed in on 93 pump gas then convert to flex fuel. Not sure what to expect for gains but if it picks up 10+ hp and tq I guess its worth it

Yeah, I worked with a guy not too long ago with SEP SD's, and the data was pretty good. The SD comment was kind of general. There was a whole thread in the tuning section about SD injector data files, and if you opened them up, all slightly different.

you did the right thing -- get them from someone who flow matched them and derived the data themselves. Did not mean to imply you'd be unhappy.

I didnt read anything negative into your post. All good

So I have a meth kit I intended on running even if just spraying water but now going e85 im not sure it's worth the trouble.
Added weight but still cools intake charge

That's what I've read. I've already started editing my tables. Have not installed and tried them out yet. I purchased "Genuine" Deka injectors also.

That's what I have I believe. I'll start working on the injector tune soon but not putting them in yet. Got to get the transmission in and working. Probably vacuum pump on and working and then fool with the injectors and e85

Yeah I pretty much have the tune done but won't put the injectors in until I do the heads/cam or just feel like messing with the fuel rails lol.

Before I switch to the full flex tune , I'm gonna test e85 on my set up to see what it's worth. If minimal gains , I'll stay 60s and 93 maybe a splash of boostane or hook up the meth kit for wot.
I will wait to sell the kit and injectors until then as my 60s are perfectly tuned

So updates on this money pit.

Transmission will be back and installed with help from Lonnie Deirs (owner of extreme automatics) as a non lock up. Converter is sent to him straight from fti to be tested for fit and pump pressure together.
8" fti converter somewhere around a 5500 foot brake and who knows on trans brake.

Gzmotorsports super pro vacuum pump, now a mezier ls1 55 gpm electric water pump as well.
To be installed after Lonnie is happy with transmission performance and is gone.
Dont want to make any changes before as to not encounter troubles
I bought snake eater performance 80# sd injectors , ac delco ethanol content sensor to go flex fuel but will he last to be done.

These changes are all I had left in my want to do list until after I dyno through basani exhaust again and compare them to open 18" extensions. If gains dont justify losing thos exhaust sound then I'll stay as is.
If gains justify it I'll move this exhaust to my dodge ram truck and get 3" speed engineering dual exhaust.

This became way more expensive than I ever planned but it's the way I've wanted it for a long time. Only live once 😂

Electric water pump

Gzmotorsports super pro vacuum pump

Ict billet manual tensioner

Some goodies came in. Just going to wait until the transmission is back in and all working before I change anything.

I'm running the same water pump. I'll eventually get a vacuum pump on day lol.

My car has been running 208° on interstate. I'm doing what I can to bring that down. Hopefully it helps

I know it doesn't hurt them at that temp, I still prefer to see it around 185-190. I guess because it wont take long from 215 to get to over heated

Mine was running hot too. Figured out the most difference made so far was putting a good trans cooler with a fan. I see a max of 207 in 98f middle days temps. Sitting with the ac on. Before I would see 217 on a 92f day. I did just order a cold case radiator to maybe get it down a little more. The trans was running 210+ Before I changed coolers (biggest Hayden with 7” fan I mounted) and now it’s 180f or less on a very hot day.

my transmission lines do not run through radiator. I have that same hayden cooler with 7" fan. also a smaller hayden cooler in front of the air damn where it pushes up to the radiator, hits this first.
transmission temps stay 160 ish unless I run it hard . then it goes back down pretty quick after fan kicks on.

engine temps are higher mostly because of dart iron block and raised the compression up. I will get it down even if I need a bigger radiator, and move my ram air kit out the way to see if its blocking off to much air flow. its the SLP aluminum ram air kit, may change that out anyway as the lid set up seems to be a restriction now .

Yeah, I'm also running the ram air box.
