Oh and FTR oh pee anyone of those cams will get you to 400+ rwhp with supporting mods.a common mistake is over camming—- running a horse **** cam with an ls6 intake and crappy exhaust. And seeing as how you’re a stalled auto dyno numbers may be harder To achieve so maybe shoot for a certain ET instead of a dyno number and mod accordingly

It's the coolest of cool
I'll have to get some pics when it's all back together. Between tearing it apart and my phone taking a **** i lost a bunch of pics.
was the 131.x trap generous @ 417whp to. Or did it take some thought?
a few things yeah. Took ideas from my bolt on ls1 setup that did 430+ rwhp and some other things we learned after. From where he was and what he had left to do yes it was possible
at that point some of it becomes a do it just to say you did it kind of a thing. It becomes expensive for small gains. But it is fun and also you really learn more about the complete workings of a car rather than just moar HCI. There’s cheaper ways to make the power but a nice bolt on setup can perform well and have superb drivability
now a “bolt on” ls6 making around 475 rwhp sounds ridiculous i know especially since many hci builds don’t get there but we all chat every day for years now, including DarthV8r and if you recall his HCI ls1 did 540 rwhp on a completely wore out short block utilizing a lot of the same ideas. A fresh short block and getting a little more generous with the rpm and were confident he could have hit 560 rwhp with an SBE LS1

Thanks Tusky
i have made them for a few others so far. It utilizes a stock fcar filter in the lower portion. I first made the lower part aluminum then when others wanted it i made a better more universal piece that i could produce quicker and it would have more area to feed it.
You would need a burkhart front bumper support to run it....mwc might work also i just haven't tried it with one of those. And some hood pins or areo latches because the hood latch goes away.
thanks

Does that intake let you keep the AC?
