Mavns Summit cam build. Just made 450+ rwhp.. Stage 2 cam aka the Tire Puller...

Thanksgiving is going to be me finishing breaking the car down and cleaning/painting parts .

Build is :

Stage 1 ghost summit cam ..I have a tsp 224r aswell. But I wanna try the new summit cam out .

Specs are 222/233 .600 .575 115+3

Tea stage 2 ported 5.3 heads - scored them for $500 with dual springs..!

milled them down .015 to a 59 cc chamber

I calculate around 11.15:1 comp on stock pistons.

fast 92/92 combo - got it really cheap.

13/4 speed e headers/y pipe

stock converter and 60e

42# inj
Wally 255
RMVB th350 I'll install next month after I get it running and tuned on the stock tranny .

then a Huron t4 kit in February.

20 years old and never even had a valve cover off of it . Check the birds nest in the back lol Ill take more pictures tomorrow . The power steering pulley was so brittle it snapped into 6 pieces when i put the puller on it . After soaking it for an hour in pb blaster. This is going to be a fun project :D

Get a 340 fuel pump if you haven't gotten it yet. Gives a bit extra if you mod it more.

Good times. The exhaust note is going to be something different than what people expect for the tuneability/drivability/maxHp. Keeps the turbo spooled.

No turbo here hahaha . Using it for N/A And maybe a little nitrous:)

Hopefully it sounds very close to stock . That's the goal . Stock Catback FTW

Congrats, you are a cam swappin’ Pro obviously. Could pass for stock with a quiet muffler ;). A closed exhaust system will hardly put a dent in power production at part throttle or WOT. We’ve optimized blowdown without introducing overlap. Slight seat timing overlap for low emissions and/or boost if ever used that way. The intake opening earlier for more net flow on the intake stroke. The lobe design and .600 lift should make it the most power-producing cam for its idle quality. Tune and have some fun with it. It wouldn’t surprise us to see an increase in fuel mileage with reduced pumping losses if you can keep your foot out of it :). Mind if we call her, the Sum-8715 -the Ghost cam?
